Abounding in fish between 3 and 10m, shoals of jacks, snappers and soldiers. You can observe turtles, barracudas, and much more. Between the rock formations hide lionfish, scorpionfish, different kind of moray eels and anemones, sometimes lobsters. The sandy ground offers flounders, giant seaneedles, different kind of rays and the Muscat wellbuilder, a jawfish, unique at Dibba Rock! Snorkelling:
Possible in front of Holiday Beach Motel. Ideal for snorkel-beginners. In our shallow, one to four meter deep bay the rocky ground is home and gathering ground of a few turtles. By high tide you can spot them even from the shore, because they are feeding just 10 meters away. While snorkelling above the few hard corals you can observe the typical life of the Arabian Sea: Anemones and clown fish, cuttlefish, small groupers, scorpionfish, moray eels, puffer fish and more. There are now currents in the small bay. You shouldn't miss at night the action of the phosphorescent plankton of the ocean. You can swim in shining green-blue water.
First-class is snorkelling at Dibba Rock: In the shallow, calm water in-between 2 and 6 m you can discover wonderful hardcorals, you get surrounded by heaps of snappers and fusiliers. Shoals of young barracudas and jacks are passing, you can observe green turtles feeding, and often blacktip-reef sharks are cruising around.

Diving at Musandam/Oman: spectacular, untouched dive sites with carpets of soft corals. Slopes, ledges and drop-offs are falling down to 30m. In the deeper parts reefs overgrown with colourful soft corals, in the shallow water with different encrusted corals. At Musandam you can dive a dive site as a pioneer!
For example Octopus Rock: A dive site for the more experienced diver, because of sometimes strong tidal currents. Reachable from Dibba Harbour within 40 minutes. The reef drops steep to 20 m depth. It is covered with wonderful soft corals in red, orange and pink, feather stars in all colours, whip corals in white, yellow, blue and purple. Close to the stack are shoals of snappers and batfish, jacks are cruising around. The rocky bottom runs in ridges to the sides, forming sandy-bottomed gullies dropping down to 30 m. There you can observe stingrays, if you are lucky, you discover seahorses hiding in the soft corals, in the open water sometimes barracudas and eagle rays are spotted.
